IT IS WITH MUCH REJOICING (!!!!!!!!!!!!) I want to let everyone know I over-nighted the completed dossier to Washington DC. If the courier is able to be REALLY fast it might be authenticated and back in our agency by my 32nd birthday which is Friday!! What does any of that mean though? Once the dossier is back at Christian World Adoption it will then be on it’s way to Ethiopia and we will be officially waiting for the referral of our girls. All the paperwork of the last 6 months is finished! I can’t tell you how good that feels!
My friend Jenny's parents own a cabin in the beautiful mountains near Cashiers, NC. She invited me, and two of our other good friends, Claire and Kim to spend the weekend relaxing and enjoying the peak of the fall colors. Of course the pictures can't do it justice but we had an amazing time hiking up to a waterfall the first day (1st picture). The next day we hiked up to the top of this mountain (2nd picture) where the only thing left of a burnt-down original farmhouse is the stone chimney, a pond and an incredible view.
