At some point birthdays stop being a big deal when you're getting older, right? 30 was a big year for me but the day was just another day. 32 however (which was Friday) was a FABULOUS birthday. It started out with 2 wonderful presents and sweet cards from Isaac and the boys. Then Dunkin' Donuts (who can beat that??), a free day off school for the boys with shopping, lunch...fun. After the boys went to Nina's house for a sleep-over my great friend Jenny and i met for more shopping. That night our closest friends all went out for dinner and then to Kim's house for yummy dessert. BUT - around 5pm i finally couldn't stand it any more and called our courier in DC. She was supposed to pick up our authenticated dossier at the Ethiopian Embassy that morning but still hadn't called to tell us yet. I couldn't handle it anymore and called her. Praise God! She had picked it up with no problems and was putting it in the UPS at that moment! So, all my paperwork is DONE. That was the best birthday gift. My day couldn't have been better if I'd tried.
