We are soo close! We are waiting for ONE letter from the state of NC before we can send our dossier to DC and then Ethiopia. I stalk my mailman everyday to see if we've received it! It's the only part missing before we can be on the waiting list for our girls!
We need support. It's so hard to write because I hate asking people to give money towards our adoption. But the truth is....we need to have $16,000 BEFORE we can get on the waiting list! All the funds have to be submitted by the time the dossier gets to Ethiopia. I was able to share in church on Sunday about the adoption and the fund our church has set up to help us. However, not much has been collected in the fund....
SO, if you can give, give and please PRAY. If you are not able to give or don't feel led to, please pray for us and tell others who might be interested in a tax-free contribution as well as supporting the bringing home of 2 of the 4 MILLION orphans in Ethiopia.
I hate writing a letter to plea for money. But, we've gotten to the point where we are not going to be able to be self-sufficient in this. We just aren't. In fact, I felt the Lord speak to me in church a few weeks ago that although we were trying to be self-sufficient in this adoption it was going to take more than just our effort. He showed me that He is allowing a lack right now in the finances for the adoption so that then we are able to invite others (the Church) to be a part of what He is doing in "caring for orphans" through the Klepac family. The Church is really going to be the only way to solve any of the crisis that is happening with children throughout the world. That's when we approached our church about an adoption fund. I believed we could do this on our own but it's past that place now and the rest will have to be a miracle of God. Do I believe He can preform a miracle on behalf of our daughters and our family? YES.
So far we've raised $1,250 towards our adoption. It's amazing and we are thankful for every bit. But we still have so far to go....
