It's been awhile since I've written on the blog. So much has been happening!.
We started our new school year last week. Then on Friday Isaac and I left for Charlotte for an adoption seminar that was being held on Saturday called "Abroad and Back". We stayed the whole weekend in Charlotte to spend some time together. The seminar on Saturday was great. One of the best parts of it was meeting three other families who are also adopting from Ethiopia. It was so good to listen to their stories of how God led them to choose Ethiopia for their adoptions. Their stories sounded so similar to ours. We were encouraged by them and also by the goodness of God for moving on all of our hearts to seek our children from Ethiopia. They told us this weekend that of the hunderds of millions of orphans in the world only 1/10th of 1% will ever be adopted.

Excited for you guys!! Like your blog!! One of the ladies in our adoption play group just brought her daughter home from Ethopia last month and one is bringing her son home next month. If you would like to talk with them, I can pass along their info. You are welcome to come to the play group, it is Fridays @ 10:30. Most of the kids are 3 though, but it could be fun for you & the boys. We normally meet out somewhere to play. Tomorrow it is @ the Nature Center & then we are going to the park there.
